    ABMAK is the legal counsel to the private sector developer of the US$ 620 million phosphate and iron ore project in Sukulu, Eastern Uganda. The ABMAK team drafted and negotiated the Mineral Development Agreement between the developer and the Government of Uganda, compensation and resettlement of project affected persons, project structuring and provide day to day legal advisory services to the developer.

The debt servicing structured on the basis of the stream of income arising out of mining operations. ABMAK advised on the legal title, drafting project financial documents and securitization.
