Denis is a natural resources lawyer specialising in advising project
developers, sponsors and lenders on procurement, transactional and
regulatory matters in infrastructure projects, including mining, oil &
gas in Uganda.
Denis holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Mineral Law & Policy (with
distinction) from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mining Law and
Policy (CEPMLP), University of Dundee, Scotland-UK. He has deep
knowledge in International Project Finance, Mineral Law & Policy,
International and Comparative Petroleum Law & Policy, Downstream
Energy Law & Policy, among others.
Denis has undertaken specialized training in negotiating and
structuring mining project agreements at the CEPMLP, and on FIDIC
Contracts (Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book and the MDB), by
accredited FIDIC trainers in Johannesburg, South Africa.
